This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 amβ6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Morning Times at (919) 836-1204; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, morningtimes-raleigh.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 1,965 reviews, which is a strong result for a cafe in Raleigh and suggests consistent service.
Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The store itself is very nice and well designed, itβs a bit small but itβs as expected for a store in Raleigh. The service was super quick and very friendly, but the food itself wasβ¦ asking for more. I got a Vanilla Latte and a peanut butter cookie, the latte was somehow incredibly bland with no richness of milk, sweetness of vanilla, or bitterness of espresso, just bland. The peanut butter cookie was okay, nothing note worthy. I would suggest this place, i most likely just got an unlucky brew!

Funky and fun coffee shop in Raleigh! Very unique atmosphere. The service is friendly with a genuine smile. I got the traditional machiato. They did not burn the milk and the Espresso was pulled with perfection! Breakfast item I got was a croissant and little bit of jelly. When you enter this coffee shop, it is a tight squeeze. There are a few stools in the front. There is an upstairs with plenty of space. They brought my breakfast up. This helped a lot to avoid congestion downstairs. Little tables next to the windows with live plants. Bus lady was even friendly when she went around picking up empty cups and napkins. That was refreshing.

We got an omelet, potato pancakes, cookie, scone, and a coffee. No complaints with the food. They made a bunch of mistakes on the order which is why I put down 3 stars for service, though the staff themselves were friendly: asked for no ham in the omlete but it had ham; the omelet was served with jam which I'm guessing was supposed to be a hot sauce; did not receive the coffee or scone we ordered until we followed up for both after receiving the rest of the order.

Good place for breakfast, coffee, and lunch. The space in front of the register can be a little tight when busy but the lines moves pretty quickly. Order your food at the register. If you're eating in, they give you a table marker with an Uno Card for a server to bring you your food. We a ordered the Ruben sandwich, chips, corn beef and hash. The food was pretty good. The honey sriacha sauce that comes with the cornbeef and hash was delicious. There was plenty of seating upstairs and outside. We will return.

We came and here and they were very accommodating. We ordered a parfait for our baby and heβs under one so we asked them not to add the honey. The biscuit and omelet were fantastic and much larger than expected. The coffee and hot chocolate was the perfect temperature. I love that they steamed the milk for the hot chocolate and it wasnβt a powder mix with hot water. We canβt wait to visit again.
